Training strengthens restoration and safety in the Cerrado Mineiro

CCA guides field workers to improve safety and technical precision in environmental restoration efforts

Rural workers participate in CCA training on the Restoration Plan, with instructors presenting environmental restoration practices in a classroom session.

In November, the Cerrado das Águas Consortium held training for 14 field workers who are directly involved in the implementation of activities. The workers participated in a day of training dedicated to the use and maintenance of machinery, with a special focus on environmental restoration actions developed throughout 2025.

The training, provided by SENAI under the technical guidance of instructor Raul Neto Rabelo and carried out with the support of SEBRAE, was structured to strengthen the safety and autonomy of professionals who are on rural properties every day conducting the practices outlined in the CCA's restoration strategies. The Patrocínio Rural Union was responsible for providing the space for the training.

Throughout the day, participants deepened their knowledge of the areas where the strategies will be implemented, understood the characteristics of the Cerrado and its phytophysiognomies, and reviewed in detail the restoration practices adopted by the CCA. They also received guidance on the correct use of equipment, preventive maintenance, risk identification, machine care, and essential actions to ensure more efficient and safer operations.

The training also reinforced the importance of a culture of prevention in the field, addressing measures that reduce accidents, increase the useful life of equipment, and ensure that the restoration process is carried out responsibly, with technical precision, and respect for workers.

Cerrado das Águas highlights the involvement of its partners SENAI and SEBRAE, as well as the Rural Union of Patrocínio, for their partnership and engagement, and the commitment of the professionals present to the continuous evolution of practices that sustain production and preserve the Cerrado Mineiro.
