He is also a farmer and permaculture practitioner, bringing to his work the hands-on experience of someone who lives and observes the land firsthand. He believes that regenerating agriculture goes beyond adopting new practices — it requires understanding the relationships between soil, water, biodiversity, production, and people. His purpose is to contribute to production systems that are more resilient and prosperous, and capable of regenerating the territories they are part of.

He works collaboratively with producers, cooperatives, exporters, universities, and civil society organizations to drive solutions that contribute to a more sustainable and resilient coffee industry.

She recently graduated in Coffee Technology from the Centro Universitário do Cerrado de Patrocínio (UNICERP), and seeks to integrate technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and continuous learning alongside the generations who built coffee farming in the region. A PIPC-certified producer, she has a particular interest in strategies that enable the sustainable production of quality coffee for future generations.

Biologist (1979) and holder of a master's degree in Ecology (1995) from the University of Brasília. He began his professional career in 1980, working as a technician contracted by CNPq. He supported UFPA's expansion into the Amazon (1985) and joined the Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi in 1987. In the Amazon, he conducted expeditions and developed sustainable management methods for extractivist communities. In 1990, he became Technical-Scientific Director of the National Secretariat for the Environment. He served as President of IBAMA in two separate terms, in 1991 and 1996. He coordinated WWF between 1993 and 1995, leading the institutionalization of the organization in Brazil. He founded E.Labore Consultoria Ambiental Estratégica in 1999, moving into the private sector. He is currently also engaged in producing organic cachaça in northern Minas Gerais. Today, he serves as executive director of GAAS, actively promoting sustainability in Brazilian agriculture.

Biologist from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) and master's in Ecology, Conservation, and Wildlife Management from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). She has more than 20 years of experience in the conservation of the Cerrado biome, with expertise in scientific research, socio-environmental project management, strategic planning, and institutional engagement. Throughout her career, she has led research focused on biodiversity conservation, coordinated protection programs for endangered species, developed environmental education initiatives, and contributed to the book Biodiversidade em Minas Gerais: um Atlas para a sua Conservação, one of the leading references on the subject in the state.

She is an expert in leading large-scale programs focused on climate resilience and building sustainable territories, combining the leadership role of rural producers with the delivery of technical impact indicators. Her work is focused on turning scientific knowledge into practical solutions for the field, fostering the integration of environmental conservation, agricultural production, and regional development through collaborative models capable of generating positive impacts at scale.

Specialist in supply chain management and sustainability, with expertise in the coffee sector. He holds a degree in engineering and has extensive experience in both Brazil and abroad, having worked with roasting companies. Currently, Felipe leads the rural extension team at Starbucks in Varginha, developing, in partnership with cooperatives and exporters, projects aimed at the continuous improvement of the coffee supply chain.

Agricultural engineer graduated from the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA), with a master's degree in Forestry Engineering from the Federal University of Lavras (1998) and a PhD in Agronomy (Crop Science) from São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP) (2009). She worked for several years in consulting and certification of agricultural production in the areas of organic farming systems, coffee growing, and horticulture. She joined Embrapa Soja in 2014 and worked at the UEP/Balsas unit in Maranhão as a crop scientist in soybean breeding until 2016. She is currently a researcher with the Strategic Territorial Management Group (GGTE) at Embrapa Territorial (CNPM) in Campinas, SP. Her work focuses on territorial analysis and management, sustainable production systems, and agroecology.

Agricultural engineer, specialized in Coffee Agribusiness Management from FIA-USP, with an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). He has worked in the coffee industry for 28 years and in Geographical Indications for 18 years. He serves as Executive Director of the Federação dos Cafeicultores do Cerrado (Federation of Cerrado Coffee Growers). He is the author of the book A Revolução do Café Brasileiro – Regiões com Indicação Geográfica ("The Revolution of Brazilian Coffee – Regions with Geographical Indication").

An agronomist holding a PhD from UnB and a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development, she has extensive experience in regenerative agriculture and the differentiation of Brazilian agricultural products. She has been a civil servant with the Federal District’s Secretariat of Agriculture since 2010 and has been seconded to MAPA since 2020, where she coordinates Agricultural Value Chain Development and leads the "Agro Brasil Mais Sustentável" (AB+S) initiative. She is also a specialist in Agricultural Policy Management from ENAP.

Environmental Analyst at the Brazilian Ministry of Environment (MMA) since 2012. He currently serves as General Coordinator of Rural Landscape Management (DGAR/SNPCT). He holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and a master's degree in Genetic Resources and Biotechnology. He works on the coordination and implementation of public policy, with a focus on rural environmental management and sustainable rural development. He currently coordinates the implementation of the National Program for Environmental and Socio-Productive Management of Rural Landscapes (Programa Gestar).

With over 25 years of experience at origin, Marcelo Pedroza is a leading professional in the Brazilian coffee sector. As Commercial Director at Volcafe Brazil, he oversees trading operations, market development, and commercial strategies. His experience combines deep knowledge of the coffee value chain—spanning origination, risk management, quality control, and post-harvest practices—with expertise in both domestic and international sales. Holding MBAs in Agribusiness and Sustainability, as well as Q Grader certification, Marcelo combines a strong academic background with technical knowledge and sensory expertise. Throughout his career, he has played a key role in connecting Brazilian coffee origins to major consumer markets, creating value through commercial relationships, market insight, and an integrated business perspective.

Agricultural engineer with international experience in sustainability, regenerative agriculture, and innovation in coffee farming. President of Cerrado das Águas and specialty coffee producer at Fazenda Três Meninas, a benchmark in regenerative agriculture, carbon-negative practices, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable water management. Board member of the BSCA (Brazilian Specialty Coffee Association) and managing partner of Legal Tree Consultoria Ambiental, leading ESG projects and strategies focused on natural resource conservation and the development of resilient agricultural systems.

An agricultural engineer with more than 40 years of extensive experience in the forestry and agricultural sectors, he currently develops corporate qualification projects aligned with the standards set out in the Paris Agreement. He is an investment fund manager and advisor to several organizations. He has worked with multilateral organizations (the World Bank, IDB) on the development of investment funds with socio-environmental impact (the Inova Capital Fund of the Inter-American Development Bank – IDB). He was Director of Sustainability at PwC in Brazil and Latin America. He currently serves as a guest professor at FIA – Instituto de Administração (Sustainability and Compliance) and in the graduate programs of PUC/SP and Fundação Dom Cabral.

 Holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, with a focus on environmental economics and water resource management, and has over 20 years of experience in conservation, natural resources, and socio-environmental finance. Began his career at WWF-Brazil in 2003 as a technical specialist for the Water for Life Program; in 2010, he took on the coordination of the Cerrado-Pantanal Program, leading initiatives such as vegetation monitoring in the Upper Paraguay Basin, responsible supply chains for cattle ranching and charcoal production, and the establishment of Private Natural Heritage Reserves (RPPNs) and protected area mosaics. He left WWF-Brazil in 2014, having served as Conservation Superintendent. From 2016 to 2022, he coordinated the CEPF Regional Implementation Team (RIT) for the Cerrado Hotspot at IEB, supporting 64 projects. He also taught in the ESG MBA program at Ibmec Brasília. He is currently the president of Nature Invest.

He works as a senior researcher, developing studies in rural economics and applied economics, with experience in quantitative methods, including time series econometrics, panel data, and multivariate analysis. He conducts research on topics such as rural credit, agricultural insurance, risk management, price transmission, and public finance, supporting policy analysis for the rural sector.

Forestry engineer graduated from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV). She has been a career federal civil servant since 2007, holding the position of Land Reform and Agrarian Development Analyst, qualified in Forestry Engineering, affiliated with the National Institute for Colonization and Agrarian Reform (INCRA). She currently serves as General Coordinator of Native Vegetation Restoration at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change. In her current role, she works on the formulation, coordination, and articulation of public policies focused on native vegetation restoration, biodiversity conservation, environmental restoration, and sustainable development. Her recent career includes serving as Technical Advisor to the Presidency of the Republic between January 2025 and March 2026, working across the areas of productive development, sustainability, environment, climate, agriculture, and fisheries.
