UN data (2021) show that 31% of total greenhouse gas emissions originate from agri-food systems. However, agriculture can help fight climate change and achieve the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C.
That’s why CCA works to support farmers in developing climate-smart agricultural practices, helping to protect the Cerrado, ensure the availability of water, and combat the climate crisis.
