Everyone knows that climate change is making water supply more erratic and uncertain, negatively impacting agricultural production. UN data (2021) show that 31% of total greenhouse gas emissions originate from agri-food systems. However, agriculture can help fight climate change and achieve the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C.

That’s why CCA works to support farmers in developing climate-smart agricultural practices, helping to protect the Cerrado, ensure the availability of water, and combat the climate crisis.

Investing in the future means being aware that our ability to transform the current reality lies in our attitudes. When focusing on medium and long-term returns, the key to transformation is the present. It is in the present that we can make sure that we have a thriving and healthy environment that maintains quality life on this planet and ensures the wellbeing of all beings that inhabit it.
